Is your chocolate lab tested for purity?

Yes. We send our chocolate to accredited third-party laboratories for heavy metal analysis. Our latest tests show cadmium at 10× less than leading French brands and 17× lower than the European safety limit for 75% dark chocolate.

Details: Our lab results measured cadmium at 0.046 mg/kg (≈ 0.92 µg per 20 g serving). By contrast, UFC Que Choisir (2025) found some French chocolate bars containing up to 9 µg per 20 g serving—almost a full day’s tolerable intake for a child.

The EU maximum level for 75% dark chocolate is 0.80 mg/kg, making our result 17× lower.

Do you use natural or artificial flavourings?

We don’t use flavourings. Not artificial. Not even so-called “natural” ones.

👉 Because “natural flavouring” doesn’t mean it comes from the fruit.

Most are still made in a lab, heavily processed, and designed to taste stronger than nature ever intended. That’s why for example, a “natural blueberry flavour” won’t actually come from blueberries — it’s usually built from compounds extracted from other plants, yeasts, or even wood. Under EU & FDA rules, they just have to be derived from something found in nature in order to classify as 'natural'.

We said no thanks. 🚫

Instead, we use real dried or freeze-dried fruits, spices, herbs and flowers. The taste is often more subtle, but it’s real — and it retrains your taste buds to connect back with Mother Nature, not lab tricks.

Are your chocolates vegan?

Where are they made?

Our chocolates are made by hand in France.

Can I eat them if pregnant?

Yes you most certainly can! They are the best pregnancy snack: its a great convenient and nourishing treat to keep in your bag.

We'd just recommend to avoid the Pistachio & Lion's mane flavour to be on the safe side: the functional mushroom Lion's mane has not been tested on pregnant woman.

Do they contain gluten?

The ingredients in our nut butter chocolates do not contain gluten however they may contain traces of gluten as are produced in an atelier that handles gluten.

What is the Sugar Reset Program?

The Monthly Sugar Reset is more than a subscription. We’re building a movement around sugar reduction, clean pleasure and mindful indulgence — breaking up with ultra-processed habits.

What are the free gifts I get with subscription?

Along your subscription journey, we’ll surprise you with gifts from our brand and partner brands to make your monthly bundle even more joyful.

You’ll usually get a heads-up before your next delivery — sometimes we’ll reveal the gift, other times we’ll keep it a mystery!

When will my subscription orders ship?

Your first order will ship after you complete your purchase. Subsequent orders will then ship once per month. You’ll see your next delivery date in your account portal, and you’ll also get an email reminder before each shipment.

What if I’m on holiday for a delivery?

Simply skip that delivery or send it to a friend instead — it’s up to you.

During Summer if it's too hot to ship out chocolate, we will automatically pause subscriptions and let you know.

Why aren't all products available on subscription?

We've focused on our bestellers for our subscription service — but you can add any of our other products to your subscription delivery as a one-time purchase.

On your first purchase just simply add them to your cart as one-time purchases alongside subscription items. For subsequent deliveries, you can add them from your customer portal.

Do one-time add-ons get the subscription discount?

Discounts apply to subscription products only.
